Getting Around El Salvador: A Self-Drive Guide
El Salvador City sits about 15 kilometers from Cagayan de Oro, making it an easy self-drive stop on the Misamis Oriental coast.
The city’s own landmark, the Archdiocesan Shrine of the Divine Mercy, overlooks Macajalar Bay from the hills and features the largest Divine Mercy statue in Asia at 50 feet tall.
From here, Macahambus Cave and Gorge – with its limestone formations, skywalk, and zip-line – is a short drive, and Dahilayan Adventure Park near the Bukidnon border is a reasonable half-day add-on if you’re continuing inland.
Check out our fleet above and get in touch if you’d like route suggestions for your specific itinerary.
