Getting Around Sagay: A Self-Drive Guide
Sagay City is about 2 hours from Bacolod, making it a full-day self-drive trip built around the Sagay Marine Reserve – at 32,000 hectares, the largest marine reserve in the Philippines.
From Old Sagay, boats to Carbin Reef (about 20 minutes by bangka) and Molocaboc Island (15 minutes from Vito Wharf) let you combine driving with island-hopping, while Suyac Island’s 400-meter bamboo boardwalk and mangrove kayaking is a gentler option.
For something different, the Himoga-an River Cruise is a relaxing two-hour float past mangrove forests and birdlife, and Museo Sang Bata sa Negros is worth a stop if you’re traveling with kids.
Check out our fleet above and get in touch if you’d like route suggestions for your specific itinerary.
