Getting Around Bohol: A Self-Drive Guide
Flying into Bohol–Panglao International Airport, a self-drive rental puts the island’s two biggest draws within easy reach: Panglao’s beaches are about a 15-minute drive from the terminal, while the Chocolate Hills are roughly an hour to an hour and 15 minutes further inland.
Many visitors combine both into a single day-long loop – beach time in Panglao in the morning, then the drive inland to the Chocolate Hills in Carmen in the afternoon, with stops at riverside and countryside attractions along the way.
Having your own car means you’re not tied to a tour bus schedule, so you can time the Chocolate Hills viewpoint for cooler, less crowded hours.
Check out our fleet above and get in touch if you’d like route suggestions for your specific itinerary.
